    3003 is an AL-Mn alloy, which is the most widely used type of rust resistant aluminum.
The strength of this alloy is not high (slightly higher than industrial pure aluminum) and
cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. Therefore, cold working methods are used to
improve its mechanical properties: it has high plasticity in the annealing state, good plasticity
in semi cold work hardening, low plasticity in cold work hardening, good corrosion resistance,
good weldability, and poor machinability.

    3003 aluminum plates are commonly used in ships, ships, vehicle materials, welding
parts for automotive and aircraft panels, pressure vessels that require strict fire protection,
refrigeration devices, television towers, drilling equipment, transportation equipment, missile
components, armor, etc.

Detailed Description

 

Mechanical properties of 3003 aluminum plate:
Tensile strength σ b (MPa) ) 120-160
Conditional yield strength σ 0.2 (MPa) )≥85

3003 aluminum plate heat treatment process:
1) Complete annealing: heating at 390-430 ºC; Depending on the effective thickness of the material,
the insulation time ranges from 30 to 120 minutes; Cool with the furnace at a speed of 30-50 ºC/h to
below 300 ºC, and then air cool.
2) Rapid annealing: heating at 350~370 ºC; Depending on the effective thickness of the material,
the insulation time ranges from 30 to 120 minutes; Air or water cooled.
3) Quenching and aging: Quenching at 500~510 ºC, air cooled; Artificial aging at 95-105 ºC for 3 hours,
air cooled; Natural aging at room temperature for 120h
