    The characteristics of 5456 aluminum alloy are: its strength is not too high at room
temperature, but it has high creep strength at high temperature. The alloy has strength
plasticity in the hot state, no extrusion effect, and can be processed and strengthened.
The welding performance of spot welding and rolling welding is good, and the tendency
to form cracks is not significant. The airtightness of the welding seam is good, and the
corrosion stability of the welding seam is low. The corrosion stability of the aluminum
clad plate is good, and the corrosion resistance of the extruded semi-finished product
is not high. To prevent corrosion, Anodizing treatment or painting protection should be used:
the machinability is still good.

    Mainly used for parts working at 250-350 ºC, such as bearings, blades of compressors,
discs, plates, and welding parts working at room and high temperatures, such as containers,
airtight compartments, etc.
