The raw material of aluminum strip is pure aluminium or aluminium alloy cast-rolled
into an aluminium coil or hot-rolled aluminium coil, which is rolled into a thin-plate
aluminium coil of different thickness and width by the cold rolling mill. According to
different purposes, it is cut into aluminium strips of different widths longitudinally by
a slitting machine.
Aluminium strip is an aluminium deep-processed product formed by aluminum coil
slitting. It is an important raw material in the industry.
The main alloying elements of 6061 alloy are magnesium and silicon, forming a
Mg2Si phase.If it contains a certain amount of manganese and chromium, it can
neutralize the harmful effects of iron; Sometimes a small amount of copper or zinc
is added to improve the strength of the alloy without significantly reducing its corrosion
resistance; There is also a small amount of copper in the conductive material to offset
the adverse effects of titanium and iron on conductivity; Zirconium or titanium can refine
grain size and control recrystallization structure; To improve machinability, lead and
bismuth can be added. In Mg2Si solid solution in aluminum, the alloy has artificial age
hardening function.
6061-T651 is the main alloy of 6061 alloy, which is a high-quality aluminum alloy
product produced through heat treatment and pre stretching process. Although its
strength cannot be compared with 2XXX or 7XXX series, it has many magnesium
and silicon alloy characteristics, excellent processing performance, excellent welding
and electroplating characteristics, good corrosion resistance, high toughness, and no
deformation after processing, dense and defect free material, easy polishing, easy
coloring film, and excellent oxidation effect.
